National HVACR wholesale distributor is looking for a full-time Warehouse Worker / Local Delivery Driver to help support our continued growth and expansion. We offer a competitive salary, full benefits, Matching 401(k) and profit-sharing.
Responsibilities:
- Make deliveries to local customers – Class C CDL must obtain within 90 days of being hired if needed
- Pack, stock, organize and rearrange products in the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks
- Manage and handle shipping, loading and unloading of products.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks – can obtain forklift license while on the job
- Handle and operate necessary tools and accessories in maintaining and managing a warehouse.
- Keep warehouse premises neat and clean
- Organize and maintain records of inventories up to date.
- Monitor and manage inventory control.
- Integrate best practices in handling warehouse materials.
Qualifications:
- CDL License (Class C) – must obtain within 90 days of being hired if needed
- Medical Card
- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds or more
- Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift
- Hazmat Endorsement – must obtain within 90 days of being hired
- Operate Forklift and pallet jack – will certify while on job
- Valid driver's license (CDL preferred) – Clean Driving Record
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently
- Pays attention to detail and monitors quality of inventory
- Highly organized and able to store items efficiently
- Must follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state
- Must be able to pass drug tests.
