The Warranty Core Clerk prepares, ships, and processes core returns for the Parts Department.

Responsibilities:

* Inspect cores being returned by customers over the counter and deliveries.

* Issue approved inspection return receipt to over counter customer so cashier can issue credit.

* Inspect, approve, and sign core return receipts turned in by drivers for proper crediting.

* Return cores to other branches that carry their own core bank.

* Segregate dirty cores by vendor.

* Process vendor returns.

* Prepare daily parts cycle counts.

Basic Qualifications:

* High school diploma.

* 3 months administrative experience.

* Knowledge of heavy duty truck mechanics preferred.
