CSM Companies, Inc. in Madison is seeking a talented individual to take on a Warranty Specialist position! This position is ideal for an individual with related experience, can multi-task, detail-oriented, and effective communication skills. Responsibilities:
* Audit warranty claims for accuracy and completeness
* Monitor warranty claim status with vendors and take proactive action as needed
* Apply vendor credits to internal and customer accounts
* Develop and maintain warranty reports under direction of the warranty manager
Primary Duties:
* Receive and process copies of the closed warranty repair orders
* Enter warranty claims into vendor systems
* Communicate with branch personnel related to submitted warranty claims
* Communicate with vendor warranty departments as needed
* Communicate and coordinate with supervisor on warranty rejections and processing issues
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Requirements:
* Associate's degree in office related field or comparable work experience
* Three-five years related experience; data entry and accounting experience preferred
* Computer skills with an emphasis on word processing and spreadsheet programs
* Understanding of double entry accounting principles
* Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and results driven
* Ability to prioritize and handle numerous tasks simultaneously
* Effective written and oral communication skills
