Waste Treatment Operator
: Job Details :

- Works with other team members to operate and maintain control of an activated sludge industrial waste treatment system, sanitary sewers, recovery wells and utility supply systems including, but not limited to, electrical, plant air, nitrogen, chillers, cooling towers, HVAC, diesel generators, and firewater.- Uses and inspects monitoring and control equipment to maintain operating parameters such as flow, temperature, pH, and so on, many of which are controlled / monitored via a programmable logic controller (PLC) or a Building Automation System (BAS).- Is responsible for good housekeeping in assigned areas.- Provides support to other team members including, but not limited to, assisting with the completion of job duties, supporting maintenance planning (that is, writing work orders and lock-out / tag-out of equipment), assisting with the training of personnel, and completing other tasks such as equipment cleaning and labeling, incident response, and providing support for audits and inspections.
