Waste Water Technician - 3rd Shift
: Job Details :

Performs routine and as needed analysis of solutions from the wastewater treatment system in such a way as to maintain the effluent from the system in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations. Performs chemical analysis for same. Insures that facility is in compliance with solid hazardous waste regulations or RCRA (Resource Conservation Recovery Act). Identifies chemical, mechanical, electrical conditions that affect or have the potential to affect the operations of the wastewater treatment system. Operates and monitors incoming water treatment systems (softeners, RO and deionizers). Prepares hazardous waste for shipment in compliance with U.S. Department of Transportation and U.S. E. P. A. regulations. Cleans hazardous material containers prior to recycling or disposal. Troubleshoots all water treatment systems and determines when to contact outside help.
