Water Treatment Plant Technician-Tampa Location 2 SHIFTS
Monitor the water treatment facility's performance to ensure effective treatment and pumping of the water supply
Primarily outside position
2nd shift 4p-2a and some Saturdays 12-5
late shift 8p-2a
- Make adjustments to the treatment process or pumping as required, in compliance with all rules, regulations and the facility's standard operating procedures
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive operation and maintenance records
- Collect samples and perform routine physical and chemical analyses on water
- Perform minor maintenance tasks and assist the maintenance staff as necessary, with major or unusual maintenance tasks
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures
- Maintain the highest of ethical and SAFETY standards at all times
- Job Type: Full-time
- Possess strong math and computer skills
- Understand how to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Valid Driver's License
- Pass Drug Screening, Physical and Background Check
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- some climbing, lifting, bending, pulling and pushing may be required
- Lifting up to 50 lbs
