The employee in this job class will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining electrical and electronic systems and equipment at County wastewater and water facilities; and providing technical guidance, advice, and training to staff on electrical and instrumentation devices. Minimum Qualifications Four (4) years of experience as a journey level electrician which included responsibility for the planning, installation, operation and maintenance of electrical control and instrumentation systems. Working Conditions Required to work at wastewater and water facilities, and on high trucks, poles, and ceilings. May be exposed to heat, cramped workspaces, adverse weather, noxious fumes, explosive gases, high electrical voltage and currents, dust, heights, and loud machine noises. Subject to emergency work on a 24-hour, call back basis. The Department of Human Resources removes personally identifiable information from all recruitments.
