We are recruiting for a Wastewater Operator at our Opequon Water Reclamation Facility.Starting Salary based on Licensure:Operator Trainee - $33,696.00Operator 4 - $35,401.60Operator 3 - $39,000.00Operator 2 - $42,993.60Operator 1 - $49,753.60Lead Operator - $54,870.40Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversees the proper functioning of pumps, motors, instrumentation, filters and chemical feeders;
- Maintains operational parameters as specified by the Facility Manager, Chief Operator, or Shift Leader;
- Checks equipment and records data;
- Monitors SCADA and recording equipment and determines usage or flow;
- Collects samples from designated points;
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Any combination of education or experience equivalent to a High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Valid driver's license
