From project award to completion, this position is in charge of overseeing all actions necessary for the successful completion of medium-sized public infrastructure projects. The chosen individual can complete tasks on schedule and on budget. Responsibilities: Ensure specification compliance, achieve cost savings, and deliver quality. Create and Managing Schedules, Coordination Drawings, and RFIs. Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed. Report to management on a monthly basis on the status of projects and any problems that are affecting their performance. Maintaining strong connections with clients and engineers. Necessary Skills: Project management abilities (planning, executing, monitoring and closing) Time management abilities Excellent leadership abilities Strong communication skills Strong ability to make decisions and solve problems Technical knowledge of construction-related concerns Computer expertise (MS Project, Excel, Word, Sage, MS Outlook, AutoCad, Sage Timberline). Financial expertise, including understanding of basic accounting principles and budget management. Required: Engineering bachelor's degree, construction management. (Related experience will be considered in lieu of degree) A minimum of five years' experience in handling infrastructure projects for the public.
