Your Role:

As a Wastewater Technician, youll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of wastewater treatment systems, maintaining compliance with environmental regulations, and contributing to overall plant success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Operation: Operate, monitor, and maintain wastewater treatment systems to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Inspections and Testing: Conduct regular tests and inspections to meet regulatory standards and identify potential issues.
  • Repairs and Adjustments: Perform routine repairs and make necessary adjustments to maintain system performance.
  • Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate logs of operations, maintenance, and compliance activities.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and adhere to environmental regulations to maintain a safe workplace.
  • Problem Solving: Quickly identify and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to support overall plant operations and meet company goals.

What You Bring:

  • Certifications: Maryland Wastewater certification or related training is highly preferred.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in wastewater system monitoring and maintenance.
  • Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities; forklift operation experience is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain precise records.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in varying environmental conditions, including confined spaces and at heights.
