To help meet our goals for growth in North America, Midea is looking for a Water Composition Health Research Expert to blend research, strategic planning, collaboration, and product development to ensure that water health technologies meet both consumer and regulatory expectations.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Conduct research on the health effects and taste evaluation of water composition for various usage scenarios and populations, providing guidance for healthy drinking water, bathing water, and washing water.
- Develop long-term research plans for water health technology based on product needs and emerging technology trends.
- Establish and maintain long-term external collaborations, formulate water health evaluation testing protocol, and contribute to the development of domestic and international standards for water health home appliances.
- Assist the water treatment team in achieving target water quality standards based on health requirements.
- Support R&D and marketing teams to enhance the promotion and capabilities of water health products.
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in relevant fields such as Food Nutrition and Health, with over 8 years of experience in water composition or food health research or application. Preference given to candidates with product implementation experience.
- Expertise in water composition or food health evaluation methods, with the ability to design experimental and verification programs using internal and external resources, and provide guidance for water health programs.
- Strong innovation mindset, collaborative spirit, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of relevant advertising and promotion laws and regulations.
- Comprehensive understanding of academic research and trends in the nutrition and health industry, with a certain level of influence in the field.
