Water Resources Phase Manager ID 2024-1756 Job Locations US Remote Yes Overview This position is primarily responsible for assisting with the budgeting, planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting for specific project phase(s) and/or task(s). This position is key in establishing and improving levels of team technical competence, quality and efficiency. This position will be part of a team engaging with clients across the Water market in support of client objectives in the areas of Asset Management, Organizational Performance, Process Improvement, Assessment, and related studies and analyses. The position will review scope and schedule of proposals to develop budgets to complete technical aspects of a project and identify, address and resolve any issues impacting phase/task goals, objectives and/or client satisfaction. This position also assists in firm marketing initiatives (including attending conferences, trade shows, etc). Performs other duties as assigned. Responsibilities Support various phases of our stormwater management projects from communication with clients to deliverable generation. Support the project manager in scope development and execution including project budgets and schedules. Perform technical aspects of specified deliverables and/or leads team of technical staff in creating deliverables consistent with scope, schedule and budget. Meet internal and/or external project deadlines. Complying with and implementing clearly defined QA/QC measures. Coordinating with other teams or groups to assure resource management for all projects or tasks. Communicates issues affecting phase/task or project schedule, budget or quality and escalates unresolved issues to project manager, team leader, and/or discipline leader. Qualifications Bachelor degree in an engineering or environmental science program Must possess strong communication skills, both written and oral. Must possess strong organizational skills to successfully manage multiple, competing priorities. Must be able to interface effectively with vendors, clients, and other firm resources. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Must be able to make sound decisions/recommendations based on the evaluation and synthesis of project information and data. Must be physically and mentally capable of performing all essential duties required of the position.
