United Water Restoration has been serving residential and commercial properties across the State of Florida since 2008 with 24/7 restoration and rebuilding services 365 days a year. Our mission is simple.... We are currently seeking Mitigation Technicians who demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability and potential for growth. Primary Responsibilities:
- Arrive at the job site promptly and professionally to ensure project timelines are met
- Follow the lead of the assigned Project Manager
- Maintain equipment, vehicle and tools, reporting any loss or damage
- Keep the worksite clean and safe at all times
- Perform demolition tasks, including drilling holes, cutting drywall and removing frames
- Perform production/restoration process per work order and Project Manager instructions
- Conduct water extraction as needed
- Set up, monitor and take down equipment as needed
- Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products and supplies needed for daily projects.
- Prepare rooms and area's for work activities
- Communicate openly and professionally with Project Manager, Operations Manager, other Technicians and support staff
- Be available for rotating on call schedule (industry is 24/7)
Candidate must have: - Professional appearance and mannerisms when dealing with clients
- Self-motivated and dedicated. Willing to work overtime when necessary
- Possess and maintain a good driving license
- Pass a background and drug screening
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds alone and up to 100 pounds with help.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (attics and crawl spaces)
- Ability to work around fire damage, water damage, mold and mildew, raw sewage and other bodily fluids (Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by company)
Full time hours -
- Expected 40 - 55 hours per week
Compensation: - $18.00 - $25.00 depending on experience
- Eligible for bonuses and commission
