Location: Caldwell,ID, USA
The City of Caldwell is looking for a Water Technician I to join our team in the Water Department. Individual serves as worker to repair water meters, record and report water usage; performs maintenance on water meters and lines. Maintains pump and wells. Maintains chlorine levels and monitors residuals. Performs other work as related.
Acceptable Experience and Training:
* Graduation from high school or possession of a GED; and
* At least one (1) year of training or experience to demonstrate an aptitude or ability to perform the above tasks; or
* Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the work.
* Possession of a current and valid driver's license.
* Class I Water Distribution Certification issued by the State of Idaho.
* After hours on-call rotation.
* Subject to a pre-employment drug test, physical and background check.
