TOWN OF MANCOS, COLORADO WATER/WASTEWATER PLANT TECHNICIANJob Description: As the Gateway to Mesa Verde National Park, the Town of Mancos is a beautiful and historic Four Corners community of 1400 residents near Durango. Mancos is seeking a highly motivated individual with experience and integrity to become the next Water/Wastewater Plant Technician. The Salary and Benefits: Excellent benefit package includes fully covered health insurance, vision and dental, life insurance, paid holidays, vacation and sick time, merit and COLA increases, and 401k contribution from the town of 4.5%. Salary level will be commensurate with experience; range is $22.00 to $26.00 per hour. Requirements/Minimum Qualifications: The ideal candidate shall have a valid Colorado drivers license and a good driving record, CDL preferred. Must hold or be able to obtain a minimum of a class D water license and class D wastewater license within six months of employment. Candidate must be a United States Citizen and pass a thorough screening process which includes oral interview, criminal and background checks, drug/alcohol screen.
