A well-established civil engineering firm located in Skippack, PA is seeking a Water/ Wastewater Project Engineer to join their team. The successful applicant's experience will include developing scopes of work, developing conceptual designs and preliminary engineering studies, subcontract development and management, as well as coordination of design disciplines in final design projects. The successful applicant will have firm grasp of general heavy construction principles, experience in construction phase engineering services and should be familiar with regulations and permitting. Coordination with clients, contractors, outside consultants, government agencies and firm staff is expected. Applicant should demonstrate strong team-building skills, and ideally experience operating in a regional-office environment. Applicant should be able to present technical writing product to internal team and client. Some travel may be necessary based on assignments Strong computer skills are required: MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. AutoCAD experience desired. Familiarity with Revit, ArcGIS, MS Access, and MS Project are a plus.Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the above duties.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering is required from an ABET accredited university.
- A working knowledge of Federal and State environmental permitting and New Jersey local public contracts law is preferred.
