Job Summary: Program, Set-up and operation of waterjet machine on third shift (Monday - Thursday 10:00pm - 8:30am)Major Responsibilities & Activities:
- Program, set-up and operation of OMAX waterjet machine.
- Understanding capabilities of machine in order to maximize output.
- Develop process to achieve better finished parts with cycle time reduction.
- Ability to check dimensions of finished parts using standard measuring devices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
- Routine and preventive maintenance including equipment checks.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have demonstrated mechanical ability.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear communication (oral and written) skills.
- Ability to keep accurate records.
- Ability to follow documented procedures, work instructions and customer requirements.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Knowledge of OMAX Waterjet machine a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mechanical background
- Waterjet and CNC Machining knowledge a plus
