Job Summary: Our Wax Associate is responsible for setting up dies on wax injection machines, under the direct supervision of the Production SupervisorWhat you will be doing:
  • Read work orders or production schedules to determine specifications such as, part number, and the respective dies to set-up.
  • Setup dies to produce acceptable quality patterns.
  • Retrieve and return dies from storage area and keep the dies organized.
  • Clean and maintain dies in good working condition.
  • Verify that presses are functioning properly.
  • Work with tooling and engineering team on problem solving & improvement on the dies.
  • Fill wax presses and maintain wax melter.
  • Prepare wax pattern racks for assembly.
  • Finish the assigned work in the allotted time and maintain the production levels.
  • Feed the number and types of parts worked on in the ERP system using the routers.
  • Use computer programs to record accurate data / follow router/ achieve rates established or notify lead person for effective communication.
  • Inspect and report product or equipment defects or malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Report problems or concerns with quality, processes, equipment, materials and labor to Production Supervisor.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) as instructed.
  • Report any accident occurred in the plant related to person, equipment, material, etc. to the Production Supervisor as soon as possible.
  • Follow documented policies and procedures as designated by the company's Employee Handbook and adhere to proper code of conduct while in the company property.
  • Ensure work meets quality standards and is performed according to established procedures.
  • Perform all work in a safe and efficient manner and comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Attend scheduled training programs to enhance skills and for safety purposes.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by your supervisor.
What you will bring to the team:
  • At least one-year manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
