This led us to create our very own title of Cerologist technicians, combining cera (Latin for wax) with ologist (to highlight their level of education and expertise). You will experience the delight of clients as their confidence and self-esteem improve with each service you provide.SUMMARY:The Cerologist (wax specialist) is accountable for all service provision, minimal waxing standards, customer service standards, and general day to day operations as it relates to client management.Compensation:-Hourly-Service Commission-Product Commission-Gratuities as available-Monthly Contests with monetary compensationBenefits-401K with matching-Dental Insurance-Vision Insurance-PTO after one year of employment-Employee Assistance Program a plethora of benefits including but not limited to Behavioral Health Counseling, Legal/Financial Consultants, Health Advocacy, Wellness Coaching and Digital Therapeutic ServicesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Required:
- Current NY State licensure (Esthetician or Cosmetologist or NY State Waxing License)
- Excellent hands-on waxing skills - for all types of body waxing, willing to learn our technique
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Time management skills
- Self-motivated team player with outgoing and energetic personality
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times (Hair and Makeup done each shift)
- Have reliable transportation with a willingness to work flexible days and hours
- Schedule - Set schedule each week
Preferred:
- Previous waxing experience in a salon/spa
