Manager Notes -This position will be a hybrid role between a tech BA and Product Manager -Should have an analytical background and project/product background would be ideal -High performance team and should be able to be very responsive -Candidates with an understanding of alternative investments and mutual funds is a big plus -Adobe is a plus -Prior Financial Background would be great Role is a mix between BA, PM, and Tech BA Must have experience working with investment products - hedge funds, mutual funds, real estate funds Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, keep up with deliverables, be responsive and organized Must have financial/banking background Job Summary: The Wealth AIMS Business Execution Specialist is a member of the Wealth Business Execution Team which supports the delivery of our Alternatives and Investment Manager Solutions offering globally through all distribution channels, and reports into the Head of AIMS Business Execution. The Business Execution Team is responsible for supporting the product delivery and operating efficiency. The role of Business Execution Specialist involves working closely with and through multiple teams across. Specific areas of responsibility include: Technology/platform initiatives related to Alternative Investments and Mutual Funds globally, i.e. expansion into other distribution channels, increase digitalisation and standardisation globally of key processes; Working with technology, ensure project delivery processes are adhered too including ensuring project status is tracked and kept up to date. Coordinate, organize and lead project calls to ensure timely delivery of projects Organise regular governance updates with senior management and where necessary present escalations in the relevant forums. Work with all stakeholders to standardize the operating model relating to Alternative Investments and Mutual Funds globally for all distribution channels; Support with implementing and addressing new regulatory requirements as they are released. This includes assessing the impact, developing new or revised processes to ensure compliance and implementation globally; Act as SMEs and developing compliant processes, with assistance from Product Development / Product Management Teams. Oversee systems and controls, including rule performance, rule reviews and revisions with Supervision and Risk & Controls support Support implementing consistency in our policies, procedures and governance. Aim to align to global processes and not country specific processes / reviews where possible Co-ordinating Internal Audit deliverables and responses when relating to our products, Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding group, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Assess lessons learned when received from BR&C Monitor / oversee any open CAPs related to our product universe. Conceptualizes, plans, prioritizes, coordinates design and delivery of products or features and communicates out to wider business where necessary, and serves as ambassador within user community Has responsibility to deliver direct business results and advice regarding systems and core processes that necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy Qualifications BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, or related field preferred. At least 4 years' relevant experience. Series 7, 66 licensed. Background or previous involvement in private equity or investment management preferred. Background or previous involvement in product management preferred. Superior written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the demonstrated ability to work productively and efficiently in a fast-paced global environment with multiple projects and deadlines. An ability to balance providing direction with offering assistance.
