This position may be a steppingstone to a WMO position.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:1.Act as expediter for assigned officers, looking for ways to maximize efficiency and suggesting changes to procedures where appropriate2.Set up and maintain all account information in Trust accounting system3.Prepare reports for client/prospect meetings when requested4.Assist clients with requested changes in account information/PIA services as authorized. May suggest services to enhance relationship, in conjunction with WMO5.Act as contact for clients with requests for disbursements, deposits and account questions6.Manage account cash activity including overdrafts, bill payments, check disbursements, wires7.Provide coverage for assigned WMOs and other WMAs to ensure superior client service8.May supervise other WMAs9.Document calls and requests, sort/respond to mail and inform assigned WMOs of same10.Use CRM software (currently Salesforce) on consistent basis to document account touches and workflow11.Open new accounts on Trust accounting system as needed, including quality completion of paperwork, imaging and ownership of entire process, including problem resolution, if necessary12.Close accounts on Trust accounting system as needed, following all documented procedures13.Draft letters, memoranda, spreadsheets, et al as needed and deliver to the client/WMO as appropriate.14.Attend departmental meetings, taking minutes and gathering signatures and savings as required.OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:1.Conduct relationships in a manner to enhance overall efforts of the Company2.May be asked to lead/chair committees, as appropriate3.Arrange service calls for office equipment in designated office(s)4.Make recommendations to supervisor regarding department enhancements/budgetary needs of department.5.Be alert for and report any potential new business opportunities6.Embrace the company's commitment by seeking and recognizing opportunities to refer new business to different areas of the BayCoast Bank, BayCoast Financial Services, BayCoast Mortgage Company and BayCoast Insurance Group.7.Perform additional duties as requestedKnowledge/Skills/Experience Requirements:Bachelor's degree preferred. At least 1 -3 years in financial services, preferably in the trust and estate industry or with a trust and estate paralegal background.Strong customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail required. Ability to multitask, prioritize and work independently. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). Knowledge of Trust department functions, both administration and operations preferredEquipment Used:General office equipment.Physical/Work Condition Requirements:Locations in Swansea, MA, Plymouth, MA or Stonington, CT. This is an on-site position.In the performance of respective tasks and duties, the employee is expected to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
