JOB PURPOSE: Weatherization Crew Workers are passionate and skilled professionals which work to deliver health and safety improvements and bill savings to households through performing energy-saving upgrades.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- General weatherization duties.
- Care and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Care and maintenance of assigned vehicles.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of and the ability to use basic carpentry skills.
- Knowledge of all tools and equipment required to perform the assigned duties.
- Must be able to follow instructions, written and oral.
- Must be able to do heavy work on high levels (on a ladder/roof).
- Must be able to sit/stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift heavy tools and materials.
- Must be able to work alone or in a group.
- Must have a valid drivers license and access to a vehicle.
- Must be able to complete all required training.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
