We are looking for a talented and passionate Web Developer who would support one of our clients located in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE AN ACTIVE TS/SCI WITH POLYGRAPH TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION. Job Description: HTML, CSS, JavaScript experience - Experience with at least one of the following: Java, JavaScript, PHP, or Python - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Good interpersonal skills - Excellent troubleshooting capabilities - Willingness to expand current skillset Desired skills: - Web development experience - AWS experience (e.g. EC2, ASG, Lambda, etc.) - Experience in VUE.js, Node.js, Maven, Git - Linux development experience - Apache Tomcat and/or Nginx - Querying and designing relational databases in MariaDB/MySQL, MS SQL, or Oracle - Solr query and administration - Search experience and concepts (e.g. relevancy ranking) - Data analyst background DoD 8570 Compliance with IAM level 1 is required (SEC+). Salary: $63k - $166k depending on experience and contract. Excellent benefits package, including up to 3 weeks paid vacation and 11 paid holidays. Eligible for health care (single and family) immediately. 401(k) plan with employer match available. Qualifications: No demonstrated experience is required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required Four (4) years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
