Our Web/Digital Merchandiser supports effective digital merchandising programs and strategies by selecting and merchandising products on Watsons.com focused on achieving marketing and sales goals.

Job Duties:

  • Collaborates closely with product buying team to ensure that online product catalogs are designed and maintained accurately on site
  • Maintains product descriptions, specifications, digital assets and categorizations
  • Performs daily analysis of website performance, including product and category performance and visitor data
  • Stays current on SEO best practices for product level merchandising, collaborating with marketing team and outside partners
  • Owns all aspects of the products (visuals and written descriptions) for merchandising
  • Coordinates with marketing team to execute campaigns and seasonal merchandising with an appropriate mix of products across 20+ campaigns each year
  • Helps define & drive consistent customer experience from “digital front door” to brick & mortar retail environment
  • Participates in site testing and updates

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience with ecommerce website platforms like Magento, Shopify, Big Commerce, WordPress, etc. or third-party internet marketplaces, like Amazon, Ebay, Walmart are preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment and create new systems to support project management efficiency
  • Associates or bachelor's degree in marketing, merchandising or other related field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate and develop sustainable content organization systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be willing to work in an office environment and be willing to learn new skills
