WEB PRESS OPERATORSAdams Publishing Group is looking forEXPERIENCED WEB PRESS OPERATORS tofill positions on all shifts at our Princeton, MNprinting facility. Pressmen are responsible forthe overall performance of press; to include,production, efficiency, quality, material usage,safety, and maintenance.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESIncludes, but not limited to the following. Other duties maybe assigned as needed. Correctly make ready press from information on job ticket. Carry out accurately and precisely detailed instructions fromjob orders. Monitor product for quality during job runs. Checkpreciseness of detail against specifications and proof. Communicate to management concerns relating to specificjobs, press performance and crew performance. Follow process control and quality control procedures. Practice safe work habits. Understand and follow companyand industry safety rules. Follows instructions carefully and accurately.This is a full-time position that offers a competitive wage,benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance,short and long-term disability and paid time off.Uniforms are provided.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Previous press experience with a background in cold set webproduction and a strong understanding of the offset printingprocess and web press operations. Requires thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures,materials and specifications, equipment, and safetyrequirements and skills to perform assignments. Skill to read and understand job specifications andknowledge of press capabilities to determine the mostappropriate press usage, press settings and materialsneeded to run the job successfully.
