Requirements:
- Strong command of English language; excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven experience as a nanny or in a similar childcare role, with a preference for candidates with a background in managing children with medical needs.
- Excellent English communication skills; ability to follow detailed instructions; strong organizational skills
- COVID-19 vaccinated; must be comfortable and capable of administering medication and using an AED
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; comfortable driving a larger vehicle
- Must be positive, energetic, and adaptable; willing to grow with the family and support their needs with a “can-do” attitude
- Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
- Knowledge of both first aid and CPR certification required
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities
- Physically agile; able to keep up and swim with active children
- Valid Driver's License, as well as a clean driving record, is required

Job Description:
A lovely family in the Norwalk, CT area is searching for a career weekend nanny to join their household and offer exceptional care for their children. This role can be live-in or live-out, with private quarters provided. The schedule is Thursday through Sunday, from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm, with a two-hour break each day. The family is looking for an experienced, compassionate, and proactive nanny who is available on weekends and may be interested in transitioning to a full-time position in the future. Candidates with experience in caring for children with medical needs is a plus. Additionally, candidates should be open to traveling domestically during the winter months.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the daily care, nurturing, feeding and supervision of two children
- Must strive to create a fun and supportive environment for the home, as well as nurturing and trusting relationships with each of the children
- Tidying up and occasional laundry services as it pertains to the children
- Must be comfortable administering child's medication and supporting various therapies
- Engage children in activities, including outdoor play, trips to the playground, and other scheduled activities
- Being diligent with nap and bedtime routines
- Assist with keeping the playroom and children's rooms organized
- Manage laundry related to the children's clothing and help with any light household duties as needed
- Be flexible and willing to travel domestically with the family in winter months
- Maintain open and clear communication with parents, and be a positive and collaborative team player
- Follow family routines and boundaries while adapting to the children's needs
- Must obtain or maintain CPR and AED certification
- Light pet duties required for a small dog
