This role is responsible for the accurate and timely picking, packing, preparation, and shipping of all customer orders. Additionally, the role is responsible for accurate material handling and cycle count functions.What's in it For You:Be part of the opening of a brand new warehouse!The opportunity to take on some of the world's most meaningful challenges, helping customers achieve clean water, safe food, and healthy environmentsThe ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growthThe support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives and ideas to achieve our bestComprehensive benefits package starting day one of employment including medical, dental, vision, matching 401k, company paid pension, stock purchase plan, tuition reimbursement and more!Click Here to see our benefits.What You Will Do:Assist in setting up the new facility before it opens, ensuring success for Day 1 and beyondManually picks full-case orders and stacks them onto pallets using a scanner/tabletEnsure proper staging and identification once an order has been completely pickedUse various pieces of equipment (manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, reach truck and propane lift) to move palletsVerify quantities, quality of items and proper labeling of products that are being shippedExamine all packaging and contents of items for qualityVerify all packaging information against the packing list and SAPCoordinate with other departments such as customer service, production, instant and small packManage shipping box assembly, induction for packaging and label preparation/applicationLoad trailers with packed boxes and palletsIdentify items with a quantity discrepancy and promptly communicate with Supervisor and/or LeadMaintain the 5S cleanliness of the picking area and pulls completed shrink-wrapped orders to the dock for packersFollow all safety procedures and policiesFollow all warehouse procedures and policiesOther duties as assignedPosition Details:Site location: High Point, NCShifts available: Friday to Sunday 6PM - 6AM Nights (or) 6AM - 6PM DaysCompensation package offered: $20 / hour base pay with additional $2.00 for days and $3.00 for nightsMinimum Qualifications:High School diploma or GED1 year of previous warehouse experience1 year of stand up forklift operator experienceNo immigration sponsorship offered for this rolePhysical Demands:Must be able to lift/carry 50lbsMust be able to drive a stand up forkliftMust be able to pass a drug screenPreferred Qualifications:1 year or more experience operating Raymond reach truckExcellent communication and time management skillsAbility to work independently or as part of a team#J-18808-Ljbffr
