As we expand, we seek a committed Remote Weekend On-Call Responder to join our team to triage calls and maintain reliability for our clients and their families.As a Remote Weekend On-Call Responder, you will be crucial in supporting our caregiving operations during weekends. Your responsibilities will include answering calls remotely and coordinating client care, ensuring clients and their families receive the reliable service they deserve. This remote position does not involve working client shifts, and a backup on-call responder will be available if complex assistance is needed. Additionally, you must be able to attend on-site meetings in Lincoln, Nebraska, for 2-4 hours per week to stay aligned with team operations and receive updates.Key Responsibilities
- Answer and respond to calls during weekend on-call shifts (approximately 6 hours per weekend).
- Coordinate scheduling needs, including caregiver assignments and adjustments.
- Provide clear and empathetic communication to clients, families, and caregivers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve scheduling challenges to avoid service cancellations.
- Review complex issues with the backup on-call responder as needed.
- Participate in the holiday on-call responder rotation with the office team.
Requirements
- Previous experience in healthcare, scheduling, or customer service is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Excellent verbal communication and organizational abilities.
- Reliable access to a phone and internet connection for remote work.
- Flexibility to commit to two to three monthly weekends and participate in holiday rotations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
