DataBank is pleased to announce that we are currently recruiting for a Weekend High Speed Scanning Operator to join our Production team. The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for ensuring that all documents are scanned with maximum quality, accuracy, and speed according to job priority and specifications. This job is considered providing an essential service.

Hours:

Sat: 11:00 AM 8:30 PM

Sun 11:00 AM 6:30 PM

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions/Job Duties:

The role requirements for this position are to perform a variety of specialized scanning or general production duties as follows:

  • Ability to read and understand job specifications
  • Efficiently scan documents and complete projects per the job specifications
  • Operate and maintain scanners in accordance with specifications and regulations
  • Complete minor maintenance on the scanner when needed
  • Maintain a neat and clean area around the scanner
  • Complete necessary paperwork neatly and accurately
  • Ability to perform high levels of repetitive motion on a daily basis
  • Ability to meet attendance and punctuality requirements
  • Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail
Qualifications:

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Receive both oral and written information in English
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. Certificate preferred
  • Sit or stand in a stationary position for long periods of time
  • Repeat motions involving fingers, hands, wrists, arms
  • Reach laterally and vertically, up to 3 feet
  • Ability to work in an open environment in close proximity to many other workers

Ability to:

  • Read at a level sufficient to understand documents containing titles, codes, prose of various natures, including written instructions or mathematical figures
  • Analyze selected subjective information and arrive at an appropriate conclusion
  • Inspect and analyze selected subjective information to maintain quality standards in product
  • Correctly and swiftly alphabetize or place in numerical order
  • Develop proficiency at operating various cameras or scanners
  • Maintain established production quotes and project standards
  • Listen effectively and follow written or verbal instructions
  • Maintain confidentiality in relation to documents or projects being serviced
  • Operate and thrive in a changing environment
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with those contacted within the line of work
