- At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
- Experienced with at least 6 months in a caregiving role.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Have reliable transportation with updated insurance and registration.
- Definition of reliable transportation: to be able to drive oneself to/from clients' homes, NOT to be driven by someone else, or dropped off by family, friends or public transportation/Uber
As a caregiver, you will:
- Assist with bathing, grooming, and changing.
- Prepare meals & assist with feeding.
- Remind clients to take medications.
- Assist with transporting & errands, such as appointments or grocery shopping.
- Provide companionship.
- Assist with light housekeeping, such as laundry, washing dishes, or sweeping.
- Assist with transferring and ambulation.
- Keep track of clients' conditions and communicate any changes with the ComForCare team.
