This position is vital for ensuring efficient and accurate weighing, counting, and recording of parts produced while upholding quality standards.1st Shift M-F 6:30am-3:00pm!$18/HRECHO's benefits include:

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Weigh and Count parts from completed dunnage that is populated by Machine Operators, during the dunnage labeling process to ensure that accurate amounts of parts are in each bin.
  • Perform routing quality inspections on plastic parts being produced daily to help ensure that all production meets ECHO's quality standards.
  • Document total parts produced, and total scrap produced off each job and each molding machine by filling out the Daily Production Counts template. Also audit this information to ensure that other Weigh Counters are accurately filling this document out daily.
  • Work closely with Machine Operators, Weigh Counters, and Production Supervision to help ensure that production runs as efficiently as possible. Example: Ensure that all scheduled color changes and mold changes are clearly communicated via email and scheduling board accuracy.
  • Assist Scheduling Supervisor with daily production scheduling, printing BOM shop packets/labels, Manufacturing Order management, EMCT file auditing, Quality Control laminated sheet development and management, new employee training, etc.
  • Cover lunch breaks for Machine Operators by overseeing their assigned molding machines during scheduled break periods.
  • Must have good attendance and be able to work overtime on a regular basis.
  • Assist other Weigh Counters and Production Supervisors to ensure that 5S, safety, and overall department cleanliness is always maintained.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Total of 5+ years of Weigh Counting, Quality Control Inspecting, and/or Inventory Control responsibilities.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • Ability to read and modify PDF, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel templates required.
  • Must possess basic math skills and understand how to use a calculator accurately.
  • Capable of standing for 100% of the work duration and lifting weights of up to 30lbs.
