POSITION:Welder/Fabricator (Experienced - Levels 2 and 3) SHIFT: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm (Friday, 6:00 am - 11:00 am; additional OT as required) PAY RATE: $22.00 - $24.00+ per hour (Depending On Experience) + Full Benefits Package LOCATION: Lubbock, TX Come weld with us!   • Mastered all aspects of level 1 position
  • Qualified in welding disciplines required for the facility
  • Able to work on semi routine assignments
  • Requires minimal help from supervisor on new tasks

  • Maintains technical qualifications required for positions
  • Prompt and dependable attendance
  • Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALITIES
  • Exhibit knowledge of material identification, equipment utilization and welding equipment set-up and maintenance
  • Fits and welds subassemblies into final position with flat or horizontal welds
  • Accurately measures to specified tolerances
  • Performs flat and horizontal welding
  • Advanced knowledge of weld symbols
  • Basic oxy fuel and/or carbon arcing
  • Able to final inspect welds
  • Able to do basic Layouts
  • Understand and follow oral and written directions
  • Ability to read a tape measure (imperial and metric)
  • Ability to work with others
  • Ability to work safely and accurately
  • Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
  • Ability to be truthful and be seen as credible in the workplace
  • Ability to make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal
  • The trait of being dependable and trustworthy
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
  • 3-5+ year(s) of welding experience preferred.
