Apply now to help us maximize the use of our fleet equipment!DESCRIPTION OF WORK You are responsible for interpreting and utilizing welding skills and principles to fabricate and modify assigned welding projects based on sketches and blueprints. In addition to welding and fabrication tasks, you will also operate power hand tools, air tools, and motorized equipment. Safety is of utmost importance, and it is crucial to assess your surroundings and prioritize the safety of yourself, your colleagues, and the general public. Furthermore, you will be required to estimate the time and materials needed for assignments.Interested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:Three years of experience in the operation and use of welding equipment, materials, and related shop equipment to repair, maintain, or fabricate parts, equipment, or structures; or Completion of a three-year, high school Vo-Tech training program in welding and eighteen months of experience in the operation and use of welding equipment, materials, and related shop equipment to repair, maintain, or fabricate parts, equipment, or structures; or Completion of an approved welder apprentice program; or A welding certificate D1.1 from the American Welding Society; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Special Requirement:This position requires possession of an active Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License. Additional Requirements:You must be able to perform essential job functions.
