Van-Am Defense Systems is a custom manufacturer/fabrication shop located in Waverly, IA. We are seeking strong welding/fabrication candidates to join our outstanding team! We are seeking experienced Welders for TWO SHIFTS. Differential paid for Night shift!Day Shift: 6:00AM - 2:00PM, M-FNight Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00AM, M-F - $2/hr Shift Differential Successful Welders will be responsible for welding components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. This position requires a high level of skill and accuracy, as well as a strong understanding of safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have a solid work history and the ability to read and interpret blueprints. MIG with some TIG. Carbon and Stainless. Compensation is based upon skill and experience. Welder Responsibilities:

• Operate welding equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Use a variety of welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
• Perform maintenance on welding equipment and tools.
• Inspect welds for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
