Job Title: Welder - DAY SHIFT!! UP TO $23/HR!!Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding various materials and machine parts together, which will later be assembled into machinery. This role involves MIG welding of frames, beams, conveyor tracks, and other parts, as well as reading blueprints and weld symbols, and performing inspections.ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel ranging from 1/16 to 1/2 inch thick.Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.Measure and cut parts using a tape measure and saw.Conduct leak testing and visual inspections of welds and weld beads.Operate overhead crane and forklift.Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.Clean and prep steel using a wire brush, sandpaper, and angle grinders.Use micrometers or calipers to inspect quality.Weld in the horizontal position.Essential SkillsAbility to read blueprints and interpret weld symbols.Proficiency in using a tape measure.Experience welding on mild steel (16th gauge).Fabrication experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with MIG welding, fabrication, and working with stainless steel.Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and other inspection tools.Why Work Here?We offer a flexible and modern work environment with a focus on employee well-being. Expect to work 40-50 hours per week, with overtime opportunities. The work environment is non-union and involves working with filtration systems for various industries.
