Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:- Perform various welding techniques (TIG) to Certified Master Welder levels, torch brazing.
- Design and build required tooling and fixtures.
- Responsible for all required machining.
- Plan work to meet schedule requirements.
- Prepare purchase requisition to maintain shop supplies.
- Maintain safe and neat work environment through good safety and housekeeping practices.
- Process required documents as necessary.
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Required Skills:- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 4+ years' experience in various welding techniques (i.e., TIG).
- This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
Desired Skills:- Ability to read and build from drawings, blueprints, sketches and other forms of instruction.
- Working knowledge of fixturing and weld set-up parameters.
- Ability to design and build required tooling and fixtures.
- Knowledge of wire filler materials applications for various steel alloys, aluminum and other materials.
Physical Requirements:- Ability to read small text and handwriting.
- Manual dexterity required and able to perform repetitive tasks.
- Frequently required to stand, bend and kneel.
- The employee must be able to visually examine parts and documents.
- The employee must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
