About the job Welder-MIG/TIG: 1st & 2nd Shift Job Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled MIG/TIG Welder to perform all phases of the TIG weld function, sets-up machinery, tools and parts for job completion.Key Responsibilities:
- Understands and follows all applicable safety policies and procedures.
- Refers to production Manufacturing Process Control Document (MPCD) for job specifics.
- Sets up and runs jobs as required.
- Resolves problems with job as required.
- Assists in the resolution of production, quality, and engineering issues.
- Ensures machines are maintained per safety and quality standards.
- Assists with other duties as assigned by supervisor/ manager.
Qualifications:Education
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
- One year certificate from college or technical school preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
- 2-3 years related experience or training
Other Requirements:
- Understanding and ability to use quality inspection equipment (calipers, height stand, protractor).
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- MIG/TIG Welding certification preferred.
- Ability to wear a respirator, as required.
Hours:
- Full Time - 40 hours per week
- Monday - Friday
