Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG and/or TIG welding and associated cutting, grinding and finishing tasks
- Accurately orient weldment to design specifications prior to final welding procedures
- Handle and move material or parts with forklift, hoist or other means
- Accurately record data in ERP system to capture part movement and cost
- Follow safe work practices and perform housekeeping tasks
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Welding education/certificate and/or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- MIG and/or TIG welding experience required.
- Ability to read and understand the proper use of measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and understand CAD drawings and blueprints.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate a forklift safely.
