WelderFleet Solutions' team of skilled technicians overhaul units in the shop and travel the world to perform troubleshooting and repairs to naval ships where they are stationed. While other Curtiss-Wright business units and other manufacturers design and manufacture new products for naval applications, Fleet Solutions' technicians provide the installation, start-up, and maintenance of the components and systems.

Your Challenges- Reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting a repair project
- Ensure the proper materials are used to complete each project
- Measuring and cutting materials to project specifications
- Select proper welding materials to join metals together
- Check all finished work to ensure it meets specifications and within the tolerances marked on the blueprints
- Use specialized machinery for industrial welding
- Maintain and repair all welding machinery
- Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors
- Follow and enforce strict safety regulation such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes
- Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature
- Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
- Support maintenance repair functions as needed
- Other duties as assigned
What You Bring- A valid certification in welding from an accredited institution is preferred
- Oracle or similar MRP System is a plus
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Clearance
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Work well with general supervision
