Candidates will need to be open to traveling to different projects across the US. Per Diem and travel home will be a part of the total offer package. The first project assignment will likely be in Utah.Responsibilities• Conduct thorough inspections of welding work on construction sites to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.• Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure proper welding procedures are followed.• Perform visual and non-destructive testing (NDT) to assess the quality and integrity of welds.• Document inspection results, prepare detailed reports, and communicate findings to project managers and other stakeholders.• Ensure all welding activities comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.• Collaborate with construction teams to address and resolve any welding-related issues or discrepancies.• Provide guidance and training to welding personnel to promote best practices and continuous improvement.• Travel to various job sites across the United States as required.#LI-SL1Qualifications• Minimum of 5 years of experience in welding inspection, preferably on construction projects.• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification is required.• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a related field is preferred.• Strong knowledge of welding codes, standards, and inspection techniques.• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.• Willingness to travel extensively to job sites across the United States.Other Requirements:Regular, reliable attendanceWork productively and meet deadlines timelyCommunicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.Perform work safely and effectively.
