Job Description: A welding robot programmer is responsible for designing, programming, and maintaining robotic welding systems to perform tasks such as welding, cutting, and joining metals.Responsibilities Include: Programming and Setup: Develop and implement programming for collaborative robots and robotic welding programs based on project specifications. Set up and calibrate robotic welding systems for optimal performance. Ensure that welding robots are programmed to meet quality and efficiency standards. Set up and configure cobotic systems, including end-of-arm tools and sensors.Collaboration: Work closely with team members to understand project requirements. Collaborate with production teams to integrate robotic welding systems into manufacturing processes.Monitoring and Operation: Monitor the operation of cobots to ensure they perform tasks accurately and efficiently. Operate cobots in real-time, making adjustments to programs and configurations as needed.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve programming and operational issues with robotic welding equipment. Conduct regular maintenance to ensure the longevity and efficiency of robotic systems.Quality Control: Conduct inspections to ensure the quality and accuracy of welded components. Implement adjustments to improve welding processes and maintain quality standards.Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of robotic welding programs, setups, and maintenance activities. Provide training and support to production operators on the proper use of robotic systems.Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and standards for operating robotic welding equipment. Identify and address safety concerns related to robotic welding processes. Qualifications: Proven experience in programming and operating robotic welding systems. Strong understanding of welding processes and techniques. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in robotic welding. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
