Expand Energy is hiring an Electronic Technician for our Morgantown, West Virginia location.
As an Electronic Technician you will be responsible for providing all necessary electronic support to the crew, company and customers. You will ensure proper performance of all equipment involved in fracturing and coil tubing operations, all while making sure required safety and operational procedures are followed. This position requires a rotating schedule, on call and working outside in all weather conditions.
To be successful in this role you will:
+ Diagnose and repair electronic equipment
+ Ensure that the equipment performs at its best.
+ Assist Mechanics with repairs in the shop and on location
+ Prepare the equipment for operations
+ Ensure that all equipment is communicating correctly
+ Ensure that all sensor lines are correctly hooked up and the information is showing in the correct place
+ Energize the data van correctly and energize data acquisition equipment
+ Work with supervisor to make certain that all information required for the operation is available and is displayed in the proper fashion
+ Inspect each major piece of equipment, (i.e.) blenders, hydration, pumps, chemical additive units or coil tubing units to ensure proper operation prior to the operation starting
+ Ensure that the job is recorded in the standard manner on the applicable computer
+ Observe the equipment during the job to verify proper functioning of the equipment
+ Perform cable management through proper storage at completion of job
+ Email daily report on the performance of the job and any equipment repairs made or needed
+ Complete Preventative Maintenance as scheduled
Your Background Includes:
+ High school diploma or equivalent required
+ Associates degree in a related field or Technical Certificate required
+ Minimum of five (5) years of experience in electronics
+ Knowledge of basic electronics
+ Basic software knowledge
+ Knowledge of computer hardware maintenance
+ Troubleshooting electronic circuits
+ Operating test equipment
