Wellness Center Supervisor
Reports To: Athletic Director Danvers Public Schools seeks a Wellness Center Supervisor for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a part-time, non-benefited stipend position. Job Summary: Oversee Fitness Room activities for students of DHS daily, from 2-4pm Be a professional presence at all times Ensure appropriate dress of all users Ensure appropriate behavior of all users Solely responsible for operation of sound system and the appropriateness of lyrics/volume Assign/assist spotter for all bench pressing/squat activity and/or other Olympic lifts Maintain and leave a clean area, free of trash, debris, or other items Make sure students pick up trash, rack weights, wipe down machines after use Twice per week, wipe down all machines, equipment with sanitizer spray Once per week, wipe down all gliding parts of equipment with Teflon wipes Be the last one out of the Fitness Room, shut the lights and lock the door. No one should be left there working out unsupervised. Report issues with machines, or facility to the AD immediately Coordinate repair of machines, as needed If absent from school, please notify the AD so coverage can be arranged
