JOB OVERVIEW

The Supper Club is looking for an experienced Event Manager to join our team, overseeing our national event calendar and spearheading growth through building new restaurant partnerships.

With a growing membership, new city openings, bigger and better events with loyal brand partners that continue to invest in our events - there's never been a better time to join our team.

Reporting to the Vice President of Events & COO, the Event Manager is responsible for tasks assigned by the event team that allow for seamless event experience for our members and timely internal reporting.

This role is responsible for making sure the programming is always incredible, inspiring and unique in order to keep our members engaged and renewing. You will work with a tight-nit team that's here to deliver results. This is a remote work role, with weekly virtual meetings.

The best candidate would ideally be based in Los Angeles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the development and planning a 2025 full-year of events with the intention of keeping this plan up-to-date and accurate on a rolling basis. Meaning, as one month closes, you begin planning at least twelve months ahead.
  • Participate in internal planning and strategy meetings and calls - both planned in advance and those will arise last minute.
  • Research, identify, and contact new restaurants for our events as well as unique spaces and interesting venues.
  • Support the negotiation of partner preferential pricing and securing cost-effective terms with each venue and vendor.
  • Support the conveying of key facts to internal colleagues the marketing team for website listings, event invitations and inclusion in newsletter as well as in our proposals.
  • Support the execution of all event related marketing materials and content
  • Input and manage event budgets, submitting to leadership for reconciliation.
  • Support vendor curation and bookings along with creating and keeping updated detailed agendas/run of shows (ROS) and ensuring all details are current, accurate, and relayed to relevant team members and vendors in a clear and timely fashion.
  • Coordinate brand partners inclusion in events including: cocktails and wine for each event, as well as delivery details, product arrival and pre/post meetings.
  • Maintain relationships with local brand ambassadors and accounts in all markets.
  • Invite new faces to our SC events where space permits.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Obsessed with creating luxury experiences for a curated audience and all the “minute” details that must be considered in doing this; detail oriented.
  • Well-connected and involved in the local (and national!) food and drinks scene; allowing TSC to work with the hottest new restaurants, bars, and everything the city has to offer.
  • Excellent sales skills including the ability to quickly identify, qualify, establish and maintain relationships.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented approach to your work environment and your colleagues - we are looking for problem solvers.
  • Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Performs extremely well under pressure and is excellent at multitasking.
  • Must be a self-starter and a problem solver.
  • Familiar with operation systems including: HubSpot, Notion, Google sharedrive, WhatsApp, Microsoft outlook, Canva, etc.

COMPENSATION

  • $5,000 monthly retainer
  • Based on experience
  • Performance based bonus(es)
