Job Description:
We are currently looking for a customer focused, energetic and Regional Sales Manager for our Western Region to join the existing team. In this position, you will be responsible for identifying and executing sales opportunities to support the company's sales and profit goals, be responsible for managing the division's regional sales channels and overseeing the sales growth strategies in the region for all products and markets. What You'll Do
    Directs the field sales function in the region, including any independent sales representatives. Oversees the development of strategies to:
      Maximize share position of core products at existing customers. Identify and secure new opportunities and products at existing accounts. Develop new customers and products. Identify new market opportunities for Standex Electronics competencies. Participate/give new and existing customer's sales presentations and develop account relationships. Develop management level relationships with key decision makers at strategic accounts. Works closely with the VP Sales, North America to negotiate and/or approve pricing, terms, conditions of sale, and supply agreements consistent with company policy. Set annual sales goals and monitors and reports progress against those goals. Oversees sales forecasting and tracking process within the region. Works with all company functions to ensure products, business processes and service levels meet customer expectations. Provides input towards the company's long-term growth and profit plans. Promotes a positive image of Standex Electronics to customers and the industry in the region. Provides leadership to constantly improve Standex electronics customer based cultures. What You'll Bring
        BS degree in Engineering, with a minimum of 3-5 years of sales, marketing, or engineering experience in electromechanical products Ability to travel up to 50% of the time What We Value
          Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Demonstrated strong leadership and analytical skills. Strong Interpersonal skills - ability to establish and maintain successful cross functional relationships and collaborate closely with multiple teams.
