Our team isproud of the work they do and have a focus on clean label or natural products ensuring freshness.2402 7th Street NW Rochester, MN 55901$20.00 + $1.00 Shif DifShift/Working Hours: 4:45 AM to 5:15 PMThe wage for this role is $20.00 per hour and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications. This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).Key responsibilitiesStaging/ blending ingredients, CIP of line circuits and blend tanks, connecting tanks and piping, and sanitation. Follows established procedures and run setpoints in order to achieve QC approved products.Performs line circuit and tank piping connections in blend room by assuring recirculation via liquifier, product discharge, tank to tank transfer, product transfers and lime slurry addition / pumping systems.Performs CIP of line circuits and blend tanks/silos by understanding CIP recipes, cycles and chemicals. Performs piping connections and will wash and CIP liquifier.Stages raw materials and follows established instructions on batch sheets to perform duties. Records weights, manufacturing lot numbers, and QC checks. Follows recipes to blend products according to process description manual.Performs line circuit and silo connections in receiving including discharge, transfers, connections, and opening silos. Uses FIX screens to perform tasks. Operates X102 and X103 heating/ cooling mode.Operates computer systems including FIX operator interface, Qset, and Excel for reporting, tracking historical trends, reactor operations, CIP system, chemical addition systems, liquifier operations, and product transfers.Washes and cleans equipment per the sanitation manual. Follows GMP program and rules.Operates forklift.Qualifications and skillsWhat you'll need to be successful and safe:High school diploma or GED preferredHave a good working knowledge of arithmetic and be confident in its use.Be able to write clearly and legibly.Be able to read and understand written instructions from the department supervisor or shift group leader.Be capable of strict adherence to company policies and yet able to use common sense in making many daily decisions required in this position.The physical demands of this position include the ability to walk and stand on a regular basis. Must climb stairs and ladders.The ability to reach, bend/stoop, crouch, squat, push/pull and manipulate is frequently required. Must frequently lift product from a variety of positions to 55 pounds and has occasional requirement to lift over 55 pounds.The job is performed inside. There is exposure to humidity, dust, fumes, noise, and chemical agents. Hearing protection is required. On occasion there is close proximity to moving objects and sharp tools and limited room for movement when staging product.Kerry is an equal opportunity employer.
