We are looking for a Wet Process Technician to be part of the YES Arizona Technology center(YATC) process demonstration activities for customers specific application development, upkeep of demo equipment and metrology equipment. This position also needs overall upkeep of the Lab with close interaction with Facilities, EHS and Operations team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Working with Process Engineer/owners for virtual line production activities and process demonstrations.
- Working with Field service Engineers for Product demo as well as customer site installation preparations.
- Working with wet and dry process teams to define the expectation from the virtual line and process requirements.
- Coordinating with Process and Manufacturing/Operations teams for the upkeep of the Lab equipment and metrology tools.
- Working with Facilities, EHS and Operations to make sure virtual line and process development activities are carried out safely and as per expectations set.
- Performing process demos and customer sample logistics.
- Able to repair/modify the equipment and/or process recipes in consultation with Process/Equipment Engineers
The Wet Process Technician must have the ability to interact with internal teams at a professional level and be able to work independently. Following company safety policies is a must. This role may be called upon to perform emergency after-hours activity, which includes evenings, weekends, holidays, and swing shift as needed.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience and personal qualities:
- Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Candidate must have a High School degree and one or more of the following: 5+ year technical experience
- Associate or bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics.
- 5+ years experience within semiconductor field or other capital equipment arena.
- Good understanding of electro/mechanical aspectsof semiconductor equipment.
- Excellent communication and customer interfacing skills for both externaland internal customers.
- Ability to develop action plans for problem resolution and present them to both internal and external customers.
- Ability to work independently or in a team to close out assignedtasks with little or no supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to complete assignments effectively, with attention to detail in demanding environments.
- Experience working in semiconductor FABs will be given preference.
- Strong ethical standards, values, and good judgment
- Computer proficiency includingMicrosoft Word, Excel,and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel to GLOBAL customers and partner locations.

Compensation
- The base salary range for this position will be disclosed if the role is posted in California/Arizona.
