Wetout Technician: Job Summary Description:We are seeking a skilled, reliable laborer to join our growing company. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting, operating heavy machinery, and following all site health and safety regulations. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential.Essential Job Accountabilities:Performs manual labor tasks (lifting, carrying, dragging, or pulling material, etc.) to saturate felt liners with a poly resinUses hand tools as needed to ensure even distribution of resinOperates Company equipment, ensuring it is maintained in a clean, safe, and mechanically sound condition to prolong equipment lifeCompletes daily paperwork for the saturation process and ISO requirements, ensuring it is accurate and legible for traceability purposesPerforms saturation process in a safe manner according to all safety practices to meet internal and external customer requirementsPerforms saturation process to quality standards established by the Company for consistency and meeting customer requirementsPossesses a positive attitude and works well in a team environment, accepting delegated responsibility from the Wetout Process Manager to ensure work is completed efficiently and to customer expectationsEducation: High School Diploma or GEDKnowledge, skills, and abilities:Previous manufacturing experience a plusUnderstand, speak, and write fluently in EnglishCapable of obtaining forklift certificationAbility to work with resin and chemicals associated with the saturation processPhysical Demands:Ability to walk, stand, pull, drag, bend, squat and turn at the waistAbility to use proper lifting techniques to periodically lift a minimum of 50lbs and carry it for a minimum of 50 feet.Ability to work in elevated situations with ability to ascend and descend 10' ladders and work on platformsAdditional Requirements/Skills:Comply, understand, and support corporate safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment Ability and willingness to abide by PURIS's Code of Conduct dailyBenefits:Comprehensive and competitive benefits package that includes medical/Rx, dental, vision, critical illness and accident insurance, and short-term disability.Several 100% company-paid benefits including:Life Insurance Long-term disabilityEmployee assistance programBonus program401(k) savings plan with company matchGenerous PTO10 paid holidaysTuition reimbursementCareer advancement opportunitiesPURIS and our Family of Companies are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
