The Position Proposition: We are seeking a Warehouse/Laborer to join our growing team!Responsibilities:
- Keep the warehouse and laydown yard organized and clean.
- Fulfill daily material requests for crews.
- Pick up and deliver materials as needed.
- Load and unload reel and flatbed trailers.
- Secure loads as required by TXDOT regulations.
- Perform regular inventory checks.
- Operate a forklift.
- Work long hours in various weather conditions.
- Carry out other duties as assigned by management.
Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Forklift experience is required.
- Ability to stand, stop, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Clean driving record.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Safety-conscious mindset.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED.
Work Environment:
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
- Possible exposure to wet/humid conditions, cold, heat, and humidity.
- Noise levels can be loud at times.
- Frequent exposure to slow- or fast-moving traffic.
