As a Production Technician, your primary responsibility will be to assemble complex rehab equipment according to specific order requirements provided by Assistive Technology Professionals (ATPs). You will ensure that the assembled equipment matches the order specifications to the letter, contributing to the overall satisfaction of our customers. Your role will also involve assisting with warehouse duties, including receiving, maintaining an organized warehouse environment, participating in physical inventory counts, and ensuring a clean and safe work area. Adherence to Numotion's policies, federal regulations, and a commitment to excellent customer service are paramount in this position. The job responsibilities may evolve in line with organizational needs and management decisions. This full-time, regular/at-will position is based in Birmingham on Oxmoor Road and offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $18.00 to $21.00, depending on experience. We are a drug-free workplace, and candidates must pass a drug test before employment begins.Required Skills* High School Diploma/GED or equivalent education/experience* Minimum of one year of relevant mechanical experience* Basic computer proficiency (Word Processing, Email, Excel, Internet)* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask* Proficient in using hand and power tools* Experience with assembly of medical equipment (preferred)* Knowledge of warehouse inventory management (preferred)* Excellent customer service skills* Effective communication abilities* Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds* Willingness to work overtime as neededRequired Experience* 1+ to 2 years of experience in a mechanical or technical role* Experience in assembling complex equipment, preferably in the medical field* Experience in a warehouse environment, including receiving and inventory management* Proven track record of adhering to safety standards and regulations* Experience with computer equipment and software for basic administrative tasks* History of providing excellent customer service in previous roles* Physical capability to perform job duties, including prolonged periods at a desk or computer and frequent use of hands and arms* Experience in a role requiring confidentiality and compliance with company policies and federal regulations* Previous experience in a role that required effective teamwork and collaboration
